'Mary Poppins Returns' Is It Worth The Watch?
I know everyone got filled with excitement when they first saw the trailer for Mary Poppins Returns pop up on their phone or TVs. I know I did just because I remember as a little girl watching the 1964 version on my Dora television and also the 2013 version Saving Mr. Banks. I think everyone enjoyed those two movies throughout their childhood and maybe through their adulthood mainly because we all had vivid imaginations as kids and wanted our own Mary Poppins. So when the trailer for Mary Poppins Returns was released I know some people were skeptical about the new feature to the brand.

Why Do I Act 'Woke'?
I always get the question "Why are you so woke?" and I just cannot stand this question; it literally irritates so much. Just because of the fact that I don't let people tell me anything they want to while you just sit there and accept it does not mean I’m woke. I don't always say things to people when they are in the wrong but I know what I can handle. That's like when TheToday Show made a model of what they say Queen Nefertiti would have looked like and it was a tan white woman, even though everyone with sense would know that Egyptians were black. I mean, they were in Africa in the Archaic period. After that, Twitter went to town on The Today Show, making sure they knew that Egyptians were black. I would not call that woke, though. It's just that people love being ignorant so I mean why not just cut them off right at the start?

Confidence and Fake Friends: How Do They Connect?
There is always that one person you know that is really cocky, but they defend their cockiness by saying they are just confident in themselves. First of all, there is a big difference in being confident and being a jerk; those are two different things. I have always been told my whole life confidence in yourself is key, which is true. Everyone needs to have confidence. But there is a line that when crossed turns that person into a really really big pain in the but. Every person can admit that in their high school there was always that one person whom everyone despised. Those people usually act the same, they feel they are entitled and turn their nose up at other people, and they think they are better than everyone else. As I mentioned before there is nothing wrong with being confident.

Why Is 'Black Panther' So Important?
I have seen so many posts across all my social media accounts about the new movie Black Panther asking why people are so happy for it to be released. Some showed their excitement and their support of the movie. Then it was those others who shared that they thought the movie was racist to people of other ethnicities because there were only two other main characters in the movie who were another race. The movie had almost an all-black cast and some did not like this. Although, many other people of different races and cultures don't see this movie as a problem.

Hair
My hair is what defines me. I can wear my hair any way I want, wherever I want, and whenever I want. I will not be told how I should style my hair based on what you think is acceptable. Just because I have my hair styled a certain way that you can't do does not mean it's weird. My hair should not be played with by you or your friend, it doesn't matter even if you ask me. If you ever feel the urge to touch my hair, do what Solange Knowles said and DON'T. My hair is not an ATTRACTION for you to take a picture of and share with your friends. Also, do not ever just walk up to me and begin touching my hair. I don't care who you are. My hair is me, so don't disrespect it.
