To My Mother Who Left Too Soon
Hello Mom, It's been too long since I last spoke to you, in person that is. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't wish I could call you or visit you just to see how you're doing, to hear your voice, to know you're there. You left too soon, too soon for me to tell you all the things I wish I could so I'll say them now if only for the hope that somehow you can hear them.

My First Ipsy Bag Review
I've always wanted to try Ipsy and after hearing so many things about it, some positive and some not so positive, I finally gave in and purchased my very first bag. Luckily, I didn't have to be put on any waiting list and received my bag shortly after ordering. Here is my review of my first Ipsy bag. Is an Ipsy bag actually worth $10 a month? Here are the five products I received and my opinions of the products; all of my opinions are honest and are not sponsored (although, I wish)!

Dear Daughter
Dear Daughter, The world was a dull place before you arrived, and to be honest, life seemed a little meaningless. The day I found out I was carrying you, the world seemed to shine slightly brighter and words cannot explain the utter excitement I felt at knowing you would be here soon. I waited and waited, endured pregnancy patiently but also anxiously, and then finally, there you were, so real, so perfect, and the world was completely illuminated. My love for you was overwhelming and I fell head over heels in love from the very first touch.

Advice From a Motherless Daughter
I'll never forget the day I was in the hospital room as my mother's doctor explained to her the severity of her cancer diagnosis as well as the very small odds of surviving such an intense and advanced form. I was only 17 and my mother was only 42. By looking at my mother, how much effort she put into everyday and raising six children, you would have never guessed she was sick. In fact, I think she was surprised as she only went to the doctor with a pain in her right side. It was colon cancer, stage IV, that had spread to her liver. The doctors seemed genuinely surprised as colon cancer is usually found in older patients. But, no matter how rare the situation, my mother was one of the unlucky few and I knew I was probably going to lose my mother and soon. My mother passed away a year later, shortly after my senior graduation and suddenly, the world turned into an unfamiliar place, one I didn't know if I would ever come to terms with. I'm going to start this with my advice to those who have lost their mothers and then to those who have not. I feel like both sides are equally important and may, hopefully, be helpful to someone.
