What are some of your favorite makeup removers?

Many women wear makeup and use makeup remover to take off their makeup at the end of the day. With so many products on the market, it's hard to know which one to purchase. I took a recent poll on Facebook to see which makeup removers were the favorites among my friends. The following is the results from that poll.

Pond's Cold Cream is one of the first makeup removers that came to mind. This is the makeup remover my mother used and the one I grew up around. The lotion-like cream is gentle even on sensitive skin and leaves skin feelings moisturized and soft. This product costs $4.75 for a 6.1 oz and can be found at most grocery stores and pharmacies. This is a product that I have been using on and off for the past 20 years and is one I always recommend to others.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple is an all in one product that works well to remove makeup, oil, and dirt. It's gentle and works well even on stubborn eye makeup. This product has become one of my all-time favorites. I was blown away by how well it worked and how this one product could take the place of so many others. It cleans, tones, and hydrates all in one step. It is also gentle on sensitive skin. This product sells for $24 for an 8 oz size. A small amount will go a long way and an 8 oz bottle will last a long time if you are only using it on your face. The product is pricey, but it's well worth the cost. This is one of my holy grail products that I could not live without.

Oil-Free Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover is a favorite of mine that I always go back to. I have sensitive skin and have found that not all liquid makeup removers are the same. The formula for this one is gentle on my skin and does a fantastic job of removing stubborn eye makeup. I have tried other brands and had issues with my eyes burns and my skin turning bright red due to irritation. Due to this, I stick to the Neutrogena eye makeup remover. This is one of my holy grail products. This product sells for $7.99 for a 5.5 oz bottle.

Coconut oil is a great natural alternative for removing makeup. coconut oil will literally melt your makeup away and also leaves your skin feeling moisturized. It has a light pleasant smell and a little bit goes a long way. This is especially good for people who have dry or sensitive skin. Coconut oil can also be used for cooking and is found at most grocery stores.

Cleansing water has been popping up in numerous stores under a variety of brand names. Cleansing water is a simple gentle water that can be used to remove makeup from your face. I am a fan of cleansing water and own several of them. One of my favorites is Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water which sells for $8.99 for a 13.5 oz bottle. This is a great price and a bottle of this lasts me many months.

In conclusion, there are many makeup removal products on the market. The ones above are some of my favorites and work best on my sensitive skin. These are also products that were mentioned when I do a poll among friends.
