How to Get Rid of Blackheads

Everyone hate those little blackheads. Here are some ways to get rid of them for good!

Everyone gets blackheads. First off, what are blackheads? Blackheads are a plug of sebum in a hair follicle darkened by oxidation. They are ugly and sometimes they are hard to get rid of, so I'm going to tell you some ways you can easily get rid of blackheads. All skin types are different, so if one way doesn't work for you, try another way.

1. Face Masks

Face masks are a great way to get rid of blackheads. There are many different types of face masks, but the best one to use for blackheads are the charcoal face masks. These work better because the charcoal somehow gets deep into the pores and the blackheads stick onto it. If you go to your local pharmacy, you will be able to find some really good face masks. Personally, I like the peel-off masks better than the wash off ones. For me that easier, but if you like the wash off masks go for it! You are just steps away from beautiful, clear skin.

2. Baking Soda and Water

If you don't have time to go to the pharmacy, but you still want to get rid of your blackheads, try making an at home baking soda paste. All you need to do is mix equal parts of water and baking soda until you have a paste-like consistency. Apply it to your blackheads and massage. Then wash off and apply any moisturizer. Your skin will be soft and blackhead free! For better results do this about three times every week.

3. Salicylic Acid

When it comes to blackhead removal, Salicylic Acid is your best friend. The ingredient helps skin-cell turnover, helping unclog your pores. Apply a little on the area you want to be cleared. Wait for it to dry, and then peel off. If you do it properly and safely, it could clear that area of blackheads for good.

4. Egg Whites

This surprised me too. Another way to get rid of blackheads is with egg whites! Just carefully crack an egg and separate the yolk and the egg white. Then, grab paper towels and brush the egg white on the area with the blackheads and put the paper towel on top. For better results, brush some the egg whites on the paper towel also. Wait until it's dry and carefully peel off. This may sound weird, but it actually works; I guess eggs are better than just to eat, they also have a lot of benefits.

5. Honey and Cinnamon Powder

You will need one teaspoon of honey and one tablespoon of cinnamon powder and mix until it's a paste. Then get some cotton balls and put it on top of the mixture for three minutes. When the three minutes are up, take off the cotton ball and you will notice that the blackheads are stuck to the cotton ball. Wash area with cold water and apply a good moisturizing cream.

6. Lemon and Honey

Get a lemon and cut it in half. Then add three to four drops of honey on one half and rub it on your face. Leave this mixture on your face for five to seven minutes and wash off with cold water. If you don't get the desired result the first time, apply one to two times a week for the result you want. If you are sensitive to lemon, please be careful.

7. Gelatin and Milk

Another way is by using gelatin and milk. Get one tablespoon of unflavored gelatin and two tablespoons of milk. Mix them in a small bowl and put into the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Let the mixture cool down and apply to the area you want to be blackhead free with a makeup brush. Let it dry for 15 minutes until dry, then carefully peel off.

That's all!

I hope you liked these ways to remove your blackheads! Again, every skin type is different, so if one way doesn't work, try another way. I hope these were helpful to you!
