Morphe is a brand that I recently discovered. I have watched many YouTube Beauty Vloggers obsess over this brand but always thought that they were high end for some reason. When I discovered their makeup was reasonably priced I was excited to try them out. I love trying new products and have heard many positive things about this brand.

Morphe 8C Cool Blush Palette is one of the first Morphe products I tried. I will say I am in love with this blush palette. This is a cool toned blush palette that comes with a total of eight different blushes. There are two lighter pink, two lighter peach, one brown shimmer, one darker purple, and one darker berry color shades in this palette. These blushes are highly pigmented and buildable. The pan sizes are large and the product blends out nicely. I really like this palette. It comes in plain black standard Morphe packaging. It's not fancy but it is nice and classy looking palette. The color names are printed under each color which I like. This palette has no mirror which I am okay with. By not having a mirror it helps to save on manufacturing costs for this palette and that is some of the reason this blush palette is only $20. This palette is a steal for such a variety of colors and how pigmented the formula is. Use a light hand when applying this. This set has matte, shimmer and satin finish blushes in it. All the shades in this collection are great for cool skin tones and I love that there is such a variety in this blush palette. This palette can be used to create many different looks and for a variety of seasons.

The shade names and colors are as follows:

Sexy (sugared peach)

It Girl (matte ballerina pink)

Free (cotton candy sheen)

Hot (matte fuchsia)

Driven (shimmering rose)

Ego (gilded copper)

Drama (twinkling amethyst)

Queen (matte raspberry)

Morphe also has another blush palette called 8W Warm Master Blush Palette which is made for warm skin tones. I have not tried this palette, but the shades look like they would look great on those with a warm skin tone. This palette also sells for $20.

The shades included in the 8W Warm Master Blush Palette are:

Sweet (matte apricot)

Babe (lustrous peach)

Witty (gilded grapefruit)

Beat (glitzy coral)

Goals (matte pink punch)

Unapologetic (matte burnt ginger)

Mua (matte toasted amber)

Provocative (matte poppy)

The next palette I purchased from Morphe is the Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Eyeshadow palette. I love the shades in this palette and was excited to receive it. This was only $15 for eight shades of eyeshadow. The colors in the palette work well together and this palette can be used to create a complementing look without reaching for any other eyeshadow palettes.

The eyeshadow shades in this palette are as follows:

Bling Bling (silvery pink glitz)

Hush Hush (matte lilac mauve)

Gem (vibrant violet sheen)

Pizzazz (glistening magenta)

Mystic (matte blackberry)

Spark (matte ruby red)

Glitz & Glam (shimmering rose gold)

Rockstar (matte mulberry)

Ballsy (glistening mauve pink)

Berry Treasure (glittering charcoal black)

There has been some controversy over this palette. If you flip it over it says either "V1" or "V2" printed on the lower right-hand corner. V1 is the first version that came out. There was a rumor that the formula was not good on some of the shades and these ones had to be sent back to the factory to be repressed and reformulated. Packages with V2 on them are the new reformulated version so these ones are said to be more pigmented and smoother than V1. The palette that I have is V2, so it's the new reformulated version. I will say that I love this eyeshadow collection. The colors go on best using your fingers than they do with a brush. They blend out nicely. There is some fallout but it's not that bad.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I am new to Morphe Cosmetics and am loving the products that I have tried so far. They are an affordable brand and I would recommend them to others. I look forward to trying more products by them in the future.
