After brushing my teeth and showering, my morning skincare routine starts off with a face wash. I've been using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask for a couple of weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. This 2-in-1 face wash and mask is especially effective at clearing excess oil and removing harmful bacteria which can lead to spots and skin imperfections. In the morning, I apply a small amount to my wet face before working it into a lather and massaging it into my skin, using circular motions, for about 20 seconds. Then, I rinse my face with warm water. This product is great for those on a budget, have oily skin and/or are prone to spots and blemishes, as the product can be used also as a mask. In the past, I have used the product as a mask—after leaving it on the face for a quick five minutes, the skin is noticeably clearer and smoother to the touch. The mask promises to unclog pores and purify deep down.

After the face wash, I usually follow up with some kind of exfoliant and/or face scrub to remove any dead skin cells so that my skin is smooth. My favourite exfoliating scrub to use is the St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub—I only use this scrub three to four times per week. After using this scrub, my skin always feels super smooth, fresh, and ready for makeup. In the morning, I apply a small amount to my fingertips before gently massaging it around my face using small, circular motions to effectively buff and clean my skin. There's so many great benefits to this face scrub; e.g. it's oil-free, non-irritating to the skin, dermatologist tested, and it includes 100% natural exfoliants.

Next, I follow up with an eye treatment. The product I like to use for my dark circles is the Avon Nutraeffects Radiance Vibes Brightening Eye Roller. It has tiny light-reflecting optics and a subtle glitter tint to brighten the under-eye area and reduce under-eye bags and/or puffiness. However, I think the best feature of this product is that you can turn the bottom of the roller and it begins to vibrate, which helps massively when massaging the product under your eyes.

The next step is moisturiser; the moisturiser I've been using recently is the Nspa Expert Daily-Rejuvenate Cream. I apply a small amount to my fingertips before smoothing it over my face in circular motions, then gently patting it into my skin so that it is fully absorbed. I love this moisturiser as it contains SPF 15, therefore I don't need to apply any additional sunscreen over my face. This day cream is extremely thick and creamy, so a little goes a long way.

Last but not least, my skincare routine would not be complete without a lip-balm. I love the feeling of moisturised lips and my favourite to use is the Derma Intensive + Aloe Vera Lip Balm. This product simply does what it says on the tin—it effectively hydrates the lips and leaves them feeling plump and baby skin soft. Now and again, I use this lip-balm after I gently scrub my lips with a clean toothbrush; I love doing this as it gets rid of any dry flakes and leaves my lips feeling regenerated and fresh.
