With the thousands of products that are released at Sephora, it can be daunting to walk into beauty stores. Before I tested and tried as much makeup as I do now, I just grabbed whatever the sales representative suggested. However, hopefully, with my favorite products that I have tried in 2017, it can give you some ideas on what to grab!

(P.S. all of these products might not have exactly been released this year, but I tried them this year and they are just as amazing)

They are not in order. The first product listed is just as great as the last!

Fenty Pro Filt'r Foundation

With over 40 shade ranges, Rihanna was NOT here to play games with this killer line. She really set her place in the makeup industry and hopefully, more makeup companies will follow her lead. Not only can everyone find their shade, it is definitely a fantastic formula. When applying, it goes on smooth and allows for an even flawless coverage. BUT, in my experience, in order to get the finish that I was looking for, priming and moisturizing are essential. If you don't, it can dry all patchy, which is a look I do not think anyone is going for. AND, make sure you blend fast, this dries down super fast but is worth it because it lasts all day long.

(Also, if you want to be seen from space, try her highlighters, they are just as impressive as this foundation)

Tarte ShapeTape Concealer

If you are looking for bright and full coverage under eyes, here is the perfect dreamy concealer for you. This product is blend-able with a perfect matte finish. Not only that, but a little goes a long way. I have used the same one every day since October and still have lots left. This product magically leaves you with the under eyes that look like you were not just awake until 3 AM last night cramming your work! (when you totally were)

Jaclyn Hill Palette

You can hate Jaclyn Hill, her Youtube channel, or her infamous collab with Kim K, but you cannot hate on this palette. I will personally not allow it. Not like I expect anything less from Morphe, but the formula is as fantastic as all their other palettes. Pigmented, blend-able and buildable. What is so specifically great about this palette that sets it apart from the rest is its colors. It has the neutrals for your perfect everyday look and bright colors for when you want to spice things up with some glam. This palette truly has it all and I have gotten it as a gift for all my friends! Not to mention $38 for 35 great colors, what is more to ask for?

Still Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow

This. Is. Liquid. Gold. No exaggeration. None. These liquid eyeshadows are literally a glam lover's DREAM. Truly, this is the most pigmented, glittery product that anyone can ask for. I have tried so many liquid eyeshadows in the past and honestly, none compare. Pop these in the middle of the lid for a night out or in the inner corner for a fresh look, these are super versatile.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder

Bronzer, highlight, all over face powder; this one actually does it all. Managing to hide all your imperfections and adding a beautiful glow all at the same time, what more can one ask for? I suggest buying this as a trio since it is $48 for a single, but $62 for the palette. I know it is pricey, but this one, this is worth every penny.

Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick

I hate liquid lipstick. THERE. I said it. Sorry Kylie, sorry Colourpop, but you are just not for me. I have tried and tested so many brands throughout this last year and honestly, they all feel like glue on my lips. I never thought I could end up on the bandwagon with all the liquid lipstick feens. At the same time, I was super jealous of my friends, rocking these super cool shades. However, I found my liquid lipstick true love. I love that it does not dry down all the way that makes my lips feel like the desert but also leaves me with a perfect finish. AND, it is on sale for $9, is that a win-win or what?
