Oxygentix Foundation

The Breathable Foundation

If you have troubled skin, whether sensitive, prone to acne, or just generally not feeling healthy, then you need to listen to what I’m about to say. Oxygentix have worked with top plastic surgeons, dermatologists and scientists in order to bring this amazing product to you, perfecting breakthrough formulations for more than a decade. I use it every day and it has been an absolute lifesaver, especially when a spot arises just when you don’t need it to.

Nights out, business meetings, a catch up with friends—it truly is great for all occasions without the stress of your foundation clogging up your pores and wanting to rush home and shove as many anti-spot creams on your skin as possible. It comes in a range of colours, so that we can match the foundation to your skin type exactly. It is a simple must-have for someone who wants that warm glow, especially if they suffer with problematic skin.

When your skin lets you down, the first thing people normally turn to is make up, and what’s the main product people use when using make up? FOUNDATION. The problem with normal foundations is that it covers the skin, and yes, they may do a really good job of covering problem areas; however, just because the acne looks good in the mirror when your foundation is on, it is actually really suffering underneath the skin.

This foundation encourages the skin to regenerate and repair, and in fact, it’s actually better than wearing nothing at all. The foundation can be applied immediately following C02 laser resurfacing, microneedling, chemical peels, injectables, IPL, laser hair removal and other procedures to conceal any redness, scarring or bruising, therefore proving that it is a safe, calm foundation to use, which is oxygen-permeable and allows skin to breathe even when enjoying full coverage. The patented Ceravitae Complex supports collagen production as well as new connective tissue and skin cell growth.

Here's my experience with acne and how Oxygentix foundation has helped me:

I have always had acne, but over the past 5 months I have developed what is called cystic acne. If you have ever had cystic acne, you will know that you will sometimes not want to leave the house, you go to sleep crying wanting it to go away, especially when you’re surrounded with friends and family who have perfect, and I mean perfect, complexions who complain about the tiniest of spot on their temple. Please know that if you have a friend or family member who has acne, they are struggling; even if they’re the strongest person you know, it will get to them. It hurts, it looks unappealing, and when someone tells you that they don’t notice it, trust me, they won’t believe you.

Don’t get me wrong, I have days where I feel great about my skin, and yes I will have a cyst on my cheek but I won’t let it get me down; however, these days are rare, and are cherished when they come.

Now, when you don’t have acne, you look at a person's face as a whole; however, when you have acne you look at every single perfect little blemish on someone’s skin. It’s natural, and you wonder how on earth they can be looking at you, and not the volcano growing underneath your skin, especially when it’s nearly black from oxygenated blood. It’s horrible, and mirrors are simply not your best friend, and cameras are even worse.

How have I dealt with having acne?

  1. Accept that you will have your bad days and your good days. And when the good days come, take as many selfies and look in the mirror as much as you can. Cherish it.
  2. Diet – don’t let it control you, obviously; you can have cheat days — that is allowed, if not encouraged — but try and be good. Like a celiac shouldn’t have wheat, unfortunately if you’re prone to breakouts, then your diet is a huge factor.
  3. Try different things; it might be a combination, but never give up trying new cures because one thing might work for you just when you were about to give up. It’s frustrating but worth it. When I found out about Oxygentix foundation I simply jumped for joy; covering my acne was a benefit, but something that could cover it as well as help it was simply a blessing.

One final thing to end on: Your skin does not define you. Do not let it stop you from living, because the only thing that should stop you from living is death.

Love, as always,

From Belle x
