Product Review- Beauty Protector: Protect & Detangle

Or, my love letter to Beauty Protector.

I have never felt more loyalty to a hair product than I do to this product from Beauty Protector. I have been using this product for a few years now and recommend it to anyone who will listen. Oh, you're looking for a new leave-in conditioner? Beauty Protector. Something to help prevent frying your hair from all that straightening? Beauty Protector. A product that will leave your strands silky smooth & smelling wonderful? Beauty Protector.

I swear by this product. If there was an NCAA March Madness bracket of leave-in conditioners. I'd pick this product as my National Champion each and every time. (I live in the South now so college sports have become engrained in my psyche.) That's how much I love this product.

I originally ordered Beauty Protector after receiving a sample in my Birchbox one month. Thank you, Birchbox, for sending me the love of my hair's life. I am a regular offender of putting a lot of heat on my hair. I straighten my hair several times a week and am always out in the sun. I color my hair and often throw it up in a messy bun when working out. This product always makes my hair feel wonderful even through all of that.

Even on the days when I just let my hair air dry and do it's own thing-- this product helps tame the frizz and make my waves look wonderful. Even in the summer! And I live in the South! Where humidity and frizziness cannot be avoided no matter where you go.

I am a fair-weather friend when it comes to trying out other types of hair products. Dry shampoos, hairsprays, mousses, hair masks-- you name it I'm always trying out something new because there has to be something better out there, right? But, not when it comes to leave-in conditioners. This product has stayed consistent in my arsenal of taming my waves. My commitment-phobe nature is always looking for the next best thing. But, I'm seriously committed to this product. Can you marry a hair product? Because I'd put a ring on it. I'd ask it to prom. I'd ship that so hard.

I understand it's not the most expensive product (sometimes I can't believe I regularly spend $23.50 on a leave-in conditioner) and that there probably is some amazingly, life changing, crazy expensive product out there that I could possibly love more but a girl has to eat. I can't justify spending a paycheck on a hair product. I think that this product is worth the cost and it truly does last a really long time. A few sprays goes a long way (of course this depends on how much hair you have- but I do have naturally thick hair) and the bottle will stick around for awhile. The shininess and smoothness last for several days as well. I'm not a fan of washing my hair super often so I like that this product doesn't leave my hair greasy or feeling weighed down. It keeps my hair looking great in between washes. My morning routine is pretty simple (including the days I actually wash my hair) and I love that this product is a multitasker. It makes life so much easier in the mornings (and saves me time because I'm always running late).

If I haven't convinced you to try out Beauty Protector by this point-- I don't now what else I can say to make you understand how deep my love is for this hair product. I suppose you'll just have to try it out for yourself and let me know what you think! But, if you don't love it (or *gasp* you hate it) please don't break my heart. One can only take so much and I don't think my Beauty Protector loving heart could handle someone telling me they don't like it.

(Side note: All of Beauty Protector's products are worth checking out! You can find them on Birchbox.com)
