The skin. What do you see when you look at yourself? Do you have less than perfect skin? Have you used countless expensive products to treat problem areas with no results?

I have a simple all natural and affordable way to bring your skin to the place you want it to be. First, in order for you to treat any issue, skin or otherwise, you must find what is causing it.

Toxins in the air. Toxins in the very products you may be using. Most personal hygiene products contain chemicals which can be absorbed in the bloodstream. A build-up can develop striking on many problems with your skin. It could be your skin reacting to chemicals found in foods. Or it can be as simple as hormonal. What I find to be the cause of most skin issues is starving the body of the vital nutrients it needs to thrive.

Educate ourselves on what we need to maintain good health and wellness. This includes learning about what we put in and on our bodies. It makes a world of difference in how you look and feel. Healthy skin begins from within, and you are the one who is in control of it.

I did not experience skin issues until around the age of 45. I never had acne, dry skin, etc. One day everything changed.

The pictures at the top are six months apart and dated 2017 and 2018, respectively. In moderation, I changed how and what I ate. I learned what was in the foods I was eating. I made some big and small changes. Some things were easy to give up, others were more difficult. We tend to develop habits of cooking certain foods more than for the taste of it. For example, rice is a portion of food we cook more out of habit rather than desire. It's a filler adding to the meal.

Giving up all white foods makes a huge difference—bread, rice, flour, potatoes, etc. Plus soda, sugar, the list goes on. When I first made the change, I was excessive with the things I did. I'm shocked at my progress and all I gave up. In the end, all was worth it because why would we knowingly continue to put unhealthy things in our bodies right? Because we are human and it's what we do.

Personally, I stopped eating meat and dairy—but this was towards the end. I only eat all natural and follow a holistic lifestyle. However, with that being said, at times I fall off and go in the direction of 70/30 percent. The battle of the potato chips was my weakness. This is not to say you must change your eating habits to reduce or repair any skin issues. Be aware of how it will affect your body and cause a reaction to the skin. If you decide after reading this, you can consider giving up certain foods and/or products you know your body does not need. It's the first step in a positive direction of healthy skin.

That covers the inside. It's all about giving your body all the nutrients, minerals, and vitamins it needs—and do not forget about water consumption. Dehydration causes early signs of aging.

I'm in process of developing an online course of sorts on natural ways to heal and reverse damaged skin. Featuring how to correct sunken eyes and tighten facial skin with all natural ingredients. So, I can't give you all the secrets, but I'm going to give you some remedies and tips, which will show you in a short amount of time and at an affordable price. You can repair and rebuild your skin to a healthy state.

Supplementation and vitamins are key when rebuilding skin from the inside—A, B, C, D, and E. I always suggest not taking a multi-vitamin because your body may not need all of these and can cause adverse reactions. Research the benefits of these vitamins and you will realize you are stopping your skin repair daily.

Did you know the body repairs itself within the first two hours of slumber?

Here are a list of things that will aid you in repairing your skin on the outside: Fish oil, aloe vera gel, coconut oil, and olive oil.

I make a mixture of these oils and use it to moisturize my face. I only use pure organic products. You have to shop around to find the best bargains, but it will be worth it. Don't just look for the word organic on the label, read the ingredients.

Before bed I cleanse my face with aloe vera gel. Please spot test your skin first. I leave it on for less than one minute and wash away. If I am experiencing troubled skin at the moment, I will use the oils listed above accordingly.

For acne, use fish oil and leave on over night. You will see results by morning. If you are experiencing a thinning hairline and or thin eyebrows, apply fish oil over night. In two days, you will see a difference.

Hair thinning or loss is usually a thyroid issue or lack of vitamins like Bs or Ks. Nature's Way has a supplement "SELENIUM"—all natural and will put things back in order. Keep your thyroid in good health and your body will not fail you.

Dry skin. Coconut oil. Over night.

Aloe vera gel—I like to use if my skin on my body feels dry or I have a dark spot, bumps, etc. I also use this in the tub.

It's that simple!

What you put in or on your body will develop a buildup over time leading to other issues in the skin. So take the time to treat yourself right by using things which are beneficial. I have found a plant-based menu, water only, and it has been the most beneficial. I am human and will slip by eating something I gave up only to realize it wasn't that great in the first place.

Take two weeks of your life and dedicate it to your skin. Eat more healthy choices. Use natural ingredients to care for your body and skin. Take daily vitamins and drink plenty of water. The body is receptive to all things positive.

I will return with more info and sources for healthy living on all levels.
