For me, Soap & Glory is such a fun and innovative brand and I love both their skincare and makeup products; therefore, when I learned that the brand has created a series of face masks, I was beyond excited to try them out! Today, I'll be reviewing The Fab Pore™ Pore-Refining Sheet Mask and the Puffy Eye Attack™ Eye Mask.

As well as the masks mentioned above, Soap & Glory also launched three other face masks in the collection:

  • Speed Plump™ Miracle Moisture Sheet Mask - £3.50
  • What A Peeling™ Purifying Peel Off Mask - £4.00
  • Bright & Beautiful™ Sheet Mask - £3.50

The Fab Pore™ Pore-Refining Sheet Mask - £3.50

The sheet mask claims to help "refine pores whilst absorbing excess oil," and it is also branded as "a refreshing treat for oily/combination skin." The mask contains a variety of skin-friendly ingredients including lavender, tea tree and mint leaf extracts.

When I first took this out of the packet, it was absolutely loaded with product and it definitely was the most saturated sheet mask I had ever tried. When applied, the mask instantly felt very refreshing and cooling on the skin.

The sheet mask is advised to be left on the face for around 15-20 minutes—I left it on my face for exactly 20 minutes, before I gently peeled it off and massaged the excess product into my skin (using circular motions) as instructed. The mask advises you to either massage in the excess product or gently wipe it away using a cotton pad.

Afterwards, my skin felt refreshed; the redness on my face had slightly reduced and overall, my skin looked brighter and refined. The sheet mask also reduced inflammation from a few spots that I had on my forehead.

Overall, I would purchase the sheet mask again as it was great at evening out my skin. I think the mask definitely delivers on being a "refreshing treat for oily/combination skin," my skin felt new and smooth with no signs of oiliness. The sheet mask exceeded my expectations as it quickly absorbed any excess oiliness that I had on my face.

Puffy Eye Attack™Eye Mask - £3.50

The under-eye hydrogel patches claim to "help reduce the appearance of under-eye puff and make tired eyes look brighter." Alongside the sheet mask, the eye mask is also packed with natural ingredients such as cucumber juice extract and liquorice root extract.

Similarly to the sheet mask, the eye mask was also loaded with product and rich in moisture. One thing that I really liked about the under-eye hydrogel patches was the size of them—they perfectly covered my under-eyes. Upon application, the eye mask instantly felt cooling and refreshing.

The eye mask is advised to be left on the under-eye area for around 20-30 minutes; I left the patches on for exactly 30 minutes, before I gently peeled them off and massaged the excess jelly into my skin. Afterwards, my under-eye area looked brighter; the patches were definitely hydrating and infused with moisture.

The only downfall I experienced with the under-eye hydrogel patches was that I didn't notice that much of a difference in terms of a reduction of my under-eye puffiness. Therefore, if you are solely looking for a treatment to reduce puffy eyes, this is not the best.

However, I would purchase the eye mask again as it was brilliant at refreshing and revitalising my tired eyes, hydrating the under-eye area and making my under-eyes look brighter and more awake.
