Why I Love Ipsy

I was super excited to get the Huda Beauty lip contour. All of Huda Beauty products are vegan and cruelty free! The color I got was Trophy Wife. It's a beautiful, neutral mauve tone. I don't purchase much lip stuff, so this was a nice item to receive because I never would have bought it for myself. It's full size, super high quality, the pigmentation is amazing, and it glides on like a dream. It also has incredible staying power. You can use it as a liner, to shade and contour your lips, or all over and top with a long lasting gloss for all day color! What a find!

We are an organic and clean living household, so seeing the Adesse nail polish, in Cabana Boy, has organic oils was a plus. It's vegan, cruelty free, 12-free, and claims to be totally non-toxic. Quite the feat for a nail polish. It's super glossy like a gel, but no extra tools are needed. The color is so pretty; however it did take longer to dry than my other polishes do. I had to do two coats to get it to apply evenly, and I was a bit rushed, so maybe that's why it took longer to dry. I like it, but don't know that I'd go out of my way to purchase any.

The Doucce Maxlash Volume Mascara didn't wow me. It was kind of clumpy, and the brush isn't full so I had to apply three coats. It works as well as any drugstore mascara and still left me wanting fuller lashes. Fakies anyone? Definitely not something I will purchase or use regularly, but I'll keep it as back up in case I run out. But seriously, like that'll EVER happen!

I LOVE Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow. I got the Mermaid Teal color! The quality here is fabulous. It's super buildable for a light glaze to a full coverage, and easily blends into other tones so well. I packed it on for brightness, with no creasing all day! You can use this wet or dry, depending on the color intensity you are going for. It works great as a liner and under your eye without moving all day! A definitive fave in my routine.

Last, but not least, I got a mud mask from Grace and Stella. It's a, what I would call, premium sample. At least four uses, which really gives you time to experience its functionality. It glides on so smooth and left my skin soft and glowing. It also wipes off super easy, with no residue. It's made with actual Dead Sea mud, which is known for its cleansing and detoxifying properties. It smoothes fine lines and shrinks your pores to make your skin routine even more effortless. I really like this one, and I will be purchasing this for myself regularly.
