Bio
I'm from Italy and write every day. Being a storyteller by nature, I've entertained (and annoyed) people with my "expositions" since I was a child, showing everyone my primitive drawings, doodles, and poems. Still do! Leave me a comment :)

Our Origins Today, I read something I didn't know—one more thing to add to all the other things I didn't know. By the time I grow up, I’ll have a collection. But it was intriguing, and it inspired me to write this post. I hope you enjoy it.

Evidence for Reincarnation
Dr Mahmut Yildiz wrote a marvellous essay on Transhumanism and the topic of consciousness living on. This is such an incredibly deep, complex and fascinating subject that we can’t seem to have sufficient material to satisfy our curiosity—and neither does science.

The Undeniable Magic of Black & White Photography
Back in the 90's, I was a professional photographer based in NYC and was truly into it. All my friends were in the business in some form. At first, I started working solely with B&W photography, which was influenced by Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, Henri Cartier Bresson, and other luminaries. Inevitably, after walking around New York showing my portfolio and trying to get photographic gigs, I was “forced” to switch to colour for commercial purposes. It was that or starve. So, I ate.

Nature's Hustlers
This is a story you'll want to hear. It's so out there and fascinating that it will impress you on a different level. One day, I was walking around the marketplace in my city when I witnessed something extraordinary. I saw this cat crossing the street with a green leaf in his mouth, carrying it between his teeth. I didn't think much of it except that I thought it was a bit weird.

A Death in the Forest
I notice that when I talk to my animals, they respond in their own way, and it's plain to see. And I'm not the only one. Farmers and ranchers will understand this, as most of them engage in the same behaviours. As a matter of fact, many of them already know that cows, for example, will produce more milk when the farmhand talks to them or when soft music is playing. It soothes them.

The Incredible World of the Savants
The CTY (Center for Talented Youth) is a non-profit academic centre that researches and documents, among other things, what makes a person a genius. It also shows the extraordinary academic skills of young students. CTY's many above-grade-level tests enable it to do this. It concentrates on advanced learners, grades 2–12. In other words, it is a dedicated school for prospect geniuses.

Cat in Danger: People Lose their MindsTop Story - March 2024
The people were all looking up and gathering around. By the time I got there, the commotion was in high gear. I asked someone who was already there what was happening. He, in sign language, indicated he was deaf and mute. OK, sorry, I said, in my best sign language version, which is near 0. So, I kept on looking up, but with my poor eyes, I couldn't make out what everybody was so intent on seeing. So I asked someone else. Excuse me… She moved away from me like I was a leprechaun. Oh well, that’s two for two, I thought. I chose to try my luck with this old timer and asked him.

Love for Sale is a Misnomer
Besides a whole family home, people are lonely. Since the lockdowns from the pandemic, we haven’t been the same. The desperation for company and relationships is discernible. And the pain is real. How can we rebound? The proof is everywhere. Ads for online dating, incels looking for a connection willing to pay for a service that doesn’t exist. And yet, folks keep signing up, hoping for a miracle and being taken advantage of primarily by charlatans or bots. These days, incels talk to fake people without knowing the difference.
